our island (so big it’s got its own zipcode) and countertop is verde peacock granite, which looks darker in the kitchen than it does in this image, and with less variation, in fact it looks almost black in our kitchen.
and I found this tile: Ebony Iridescent – Artifacts 1 x 1 Recycled Glass Tile (which he says looks like an oil spill because of the iridescence) that I love because it has the dark grey/black of the countertop and the blue of the walls (which will mostly but not all be covered by tile but still)… it changes depending on the light in the kitchen.. during the brightest part of the day it’s a little disco-ball like, but in the afternoon/evening it’s more subtle
but I don’t really want a disco ball in my kitchen so what I’m thinking is I use some of it along with, I dunno, a gray or something more subtle.. ?
